virt hails from VGmix, only posting on the shizz occasionally. He runs vgmix.com and provides hosting for Dwelling of Duels, and composes soundtracks for video games.
Music
Virt is known for being an excellent composer who can write in a variety of styles in a very short time. One of Virt's earliest accolades, the 'MC Nachbar' sessions caused ex-bandmates Shawn Phase of temp sound solutions a complete nervous mental breakdown, due to being so genuinely next-level in it's R&B/Hip Hop breakthru delivery. "It fucked my shit up for a good while. i hadnt heard anything like that since like, the Beastie Boys, or Weird Al. Somehow he was both plus equal parts of Danny Elfman. It was like being able to play megaman and poop at the same time." His day job is writing music for commercial video games such as Contra 4, Shantae, and TMNT (DS version).
virt has stated on his webpage that he considers disco to be his favorite genre, although most of his work could be very loosely described as prog. He is proficient at guitar, bass, and keyboard, and he can compose chiptunes using a variety of methods (including trackers and notepad).
Other
While virt is very amicable, frequently joking around and entertaining people, he also has a tendency to be brutally honest when talking online, sometimes resulting in drama. This is summed up by the meme VIRT R BADMEN.
