Emptyeye
From Bossies
Emptyeye is a 24-year-old musician from Waterbury, CT. His primary instrument is the bass guitar, though he also plays guitar (Badly) and sings (Well, at least when within his Rick Astley-esque vocal range).
He plays old-school video games pretty well; he, along with Kareshi and Metal Dream, helped The Shizz dominate the MAGFest VI NES Challenges (The three swept the top three positions, and combined with Sam and Sunny to ensure fully half the top ten were Shizzies.). He also plays Dance Dance Revolution, though not particularly well.
Emptyeye has his own website, where he updates with new music and blog postings. He is in the process of writing and recording his debut album, The Six-Day Exile, which he hopes to have out by the summer of 2008.
Controversy
While few are quick to criticize Emptyeye's talents, he certainly won't shut up about his skills at Battletoads. This has frequently been the source of much Bossie ire, but continues unabated to this day. Note that he no longer has the SDA records for Battletoads, which he is frankly surprised didn't happen earlier.
Connecticon 2008
Emptyeye went to Connecticon 2008. His main activity there was winning the Best Vocalist award in their Rock Band competition, despite not even owning an XBOX 360, let alone Rock Band.
