• This is the second time Ninja Gaiden month has been done, and the first time in DoD's history that a theme (other than free and special months) has been used twice. This is because the original Ninja Gaiden month only had 1 entry.
  
• This is also a rare occasion where the DoD theme-cycle has been broken (Specific-Broad-Free). This would be a Free Month but because MAGFest month follows this, it needs a broad theme, otherwise it would be a specific theme.
  
• Ryan8bit, winner of the first Ninja Gaiden month, also is the winner of this second month.
